Borgo Blu Poggio and its surroundings
Borgo Blu Poggio is situated in an interesting area, rich in touristic, cultural, naturalistic and artistic resources. No matter what your interests and the reasons of your stay at Garda Lake are, you’ll be surprised from the variety of landscapes, artistic treasures and activities that the area can offer to the visitors. You can discover the territory by car, boat, mountain bike, by foot or by horse riding, the magnificent beauty surroundings hills, mountains and valleys with ancient villas and castles. Remember to visit at least once, one of the numerous agritourisms and taste the delicious local gastronomy with some excellent wine produced in the territory. In about half an hour you can reach Verona, where you will find the famous Juliet’s balcony or you can live the experience of a breath-taking opera in the beautiful Arena di Verona. Here you can visit museums, churches and monuments, too. When you are in Verona, don’t forget to take a brake in Piazza delle Erbe with the typical market and a gorgeous natural scenery. You can also walk in the historic centre of Verona, feeling the ancient atmosphere of the past time or shopping between the enormous amount of shops. Dedicate an entire day to the fascinating city of Venice where you can still remember the story of “Serenissima Republic of Venice” along the streets. And not far from us you can find Mantova or the nice Villages on the other side of the Lake, like Sirmione, Salò and Limone. If you would like to spend a day of fun, you just have to choose an amusement park: in few minutes you arrive to Gardaland, one of the biggest amusement park in Europe, the Water park Caneva or in the Zoo Safari “Natura Viva” where you can admire a lot of different animals, in the right habitat. And again, visiting Valeggio sul Mincio the famous “Parco Sig urtà” with its beautiful flowers and trees, and the small Village of Borghetto where you can sense the perfume of middle age life. If you really would like to understand this beautiful region you should blend into the Festivals in the local villages or take part in one of the numerous international exhibitions in Verona.
